mumcp (“the Plugin”) is developed and maintained by DigID Inc (“we”, “us”, “our”). This privacy policy explains how the Plugin handles data.

1. Data Collection

mumcp does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. The Plugin operates entirely within your WordPress installation.

2. API Keys

API keys generated by the Plugin are stored locally in your WordPress database. We never have access to your API keys. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure.

3. Third-Party Services

The Plugin may connect to the following external services only when you explicitly configure them:

  • OpenAI API — for AI image generation and vision.
  • Google Gemini API — for AI image generation.
  • ElevenLabs API — for text-to-speech.
  • Pexels API — for stock photos.
  • WordPress.com mShots — for website screenshots (fallback).
  • Cloudflare Workers — for screenshot rendering (when configured).

No data is sent to these services unless you provide your own API keys and actively use the corresponding features.

4. Plugin Updates

The Plugin checks for updates from sitepilotai.mumega.com. This check sends only your current plugin version and WordPress version. No personal data or site content is transmitted.

5. Activity Logging

When enabled, the Plugin logs API activity locally in your WordPress database. Logs are automatically purged based on your configured retention period.

6. Cookies & Data Retention

The Plugin does not set any cookies. All data created by the Plugin is stored in your WordPress database and is fully removed when you uninstall the Plugin.

By using mumcp (“the Plugin”), you agree to these terms.

1. License

mumcp is free and open source software, licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPLv2+).

2. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We make no guarantees that the Plugin will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. Use it at your own risk.

3. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL DIGID INC, ITS DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLUGIN.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • Content published, modified, or deleted by AI assistants through the Plugin
  • Security breaches resulting from API key exposure or misconfiguration
  • SEO impact, search ranking changes, or traffic loss
  • Revenue loss, business interruption, or any other commercial damages
  • Actions taken by third-party AI services connected through the Plugin
  • Any damages arising from plugin updates or incompatibilities

4. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that:

  • The Plugin provides AI assistants with write access to your WordPress site
  • AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate material
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all changes made through the Plugin
  • You are responsible for maintaining backups of your site
  • You are responsible for securing your API keys and access credentials

5. No Support Obligation

While we aim to provide helpful documentation, we are under no obligation to provide technical support, bug fixes, or updates.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DigID Inc from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Plugin.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
